GWM Capital Ltd. participated in a series of high-level engagements in Paris on 5 December, including the 14th Kazakhstan–France Business Council, the 16th Intergovernmental Commission, and a Roundtable on Critical Minerals and Metals.
Organized by MEDEF International, the events brought together senior representatives from Kazakhstan and France to advance practical cooperation across strategic sectors, including energy, transport, urban services, digital transformation, agriculture, and critical raw materials.
During the panel on financing, GWM Capital’s CEO & Founder Arman Batayev, ACCA, emphasized the importance of early-stage mining investment for European companies seeking long-term positioning in the critical minerals value chain. He presented the Future Minerals Junior Mining Fund as a professionally structured vehicle providing access to high-potential exploration opportunities across Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
The discussion also highlighted the role of the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) in strengthening links between Kazakhstan’s mineral resource base and global capital markets through a transparent and regulated investment environment.
Financing solutions for exploration-stage mining projects were further discussed with contributions from Pierre Maurin, European Representative of GWM Capital, focusing on practical structuring approaches aligned with European investor requirements.
The meetings reflected renewed momentum in Kazakhstan–France economic relations and a shared commitment to developing long-term, innovative, and mutually beneficial partnerships in strategic sectors, particularly critical minerals.
