GWM Capital at Insights Forum 2025 | AIFC Connect: Singapore

GWM Capital Ltd. was honoured to participate in AIFC Connect: Singapore, held as part of Insights Forum 2025, alongside global investors, innovators, and policymakers to discuss how finance and technology are shaping the future of Eurasia.

The event brought together 150+ representatives from financial institutions, technology firms, and consulting companies to explore Kazakhstan’s investment landscape, the advantages of the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) jurisdiction, and the region’s growing role as an emerging financial and innovation hub.

Key focus areas included:

• the AIFC’s role as a financial and innovation gateway;
• asset management, capital markets, venture capital, fintech, and digital assets;
• AIFC regulatory solutions facilitating market entry for international participants.

GWM Capital’s CEO & Founder, Arman Batayev, ACCA, contributed to the discussions, presenting the firm’s approach to structuring transactions within the AIFC, establishing funds and SPVs tailored to investor needs, supporting real-economy projects, and connecting global capital with Kazakhstan’s opportunities through transparent and compliant models.

During the forum, GWM Capital engaged with industry leaders including Binance, Quest Ventures, BI Group, Phillip Capital Inc., Investbanq, as well as representatives of the AIFC, the Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA), the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), KAZAKH INVEST, and the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Singapore.

The dialogue further strengthened the bridge between Kazakhstan and Singapore — where finance meets innovation.
