Swiss Mining Institute Conference — Zurich

2025-11-23 14:00
For the 13th consecutive year, the Swiss Mining Institute (SMI) reinforced its position as one of Europe’s leading mining investment platforms, hosting 100+ publicly listed companies, 1,000+ institutional investors, and facilitating 3,400+ B2B meetings.

Participation remained selective and limited to public companies, with the majority listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV). A key feature of the conference is its senior-level engagement: all presentations were delivered by C-level executives, supported by strict KYC and compliance standards.

GWM Capital Ltd. participated in the conference, introducing the Future Minerals Junior Mining Fund, a Central Asia–focused private equity vehicle dedicated to early-stage mining projects. The team highlighted its low-cost entry approach, technical partnerships, and growing regional project pipeline.

The 2025 agenda covered gold, silver, base metals, and critical raw materials (CRM). Investor activity was notably dynamic, with frequent one-on-one meetings and strong interest in cross-border M&A, particularly in projects combining resources and processing capacity.

The conference reached a new record with 1,000+ global participants. Investor interest in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, including tailings and legacy assets, underscored the region’s increasing relevance to Europe’s long-term CRM supply strategy.

The event was hosted at The Dolder Grand in Zurich, providing a fitting setting for high-level investor and corporate dialogue.
